Ephraim McDowell Health Welcomes Dr. Joseph Skurka

Ephraim McDowell Health welcomes podiatrist, Joseph Skurka, DPM, to the medical staff. He will be seeing patients at the Ephraim McDowell Specialty Center, located at 216 West Walnut Street, Danville.

Dr. Skurka earned his bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University, a master’s degree from the University of Alaska in Fairbanks and his doctorate from Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery in Miami. He then completed a three-year surgical residency program at Dayton VA in Dayton, Ohio. 

Skurka is trained in foot and ankle care, diabetic foot care and limb preservation, wound care and sports related injuries. Dr. Skurka lives in Lexington with his wife, Kim and their daughter, Savannah.
