Natalie Berry Marshall and Friends’ concert, 3 p.m. April 30 at Mercer Transformation Center, 317 East Lexington St., Harrodsburg. THEATRE

Rabitt Hole, 8 p.m. April 19-22 at Norton Center for the Arts. Presented by Centre College Drama, production is directed by Patrick Kagan-Moore and is an intense, emotional and comedic examination of a family’s journey from grief to hope. An adaptation by David Lindsey-Abaire, this piece has been called an entertaining, satisfying and painfully touching play. Private Collections, opening reception 4:30 p.m. Tuesday at BCPL, Danville. The Mahan Gallery reception for an exhibit featuring a variety of pieces made by local artists on loan from private collections. Exhibit up through April 15.

Reinterpret: Contemporary Landscapes with Billy Hertz, through April 29 at CAC, Danville. This show features stunning contemporary landscape paintings by Louisville artist Hertz, along with fresh new work by four other artists who are represented by Galerie Hertz. Kentucky Chautauqua: Simon Kenton, Frontiersman 1755-1836, 1 p.m. May 13 at LCPL, Stanford. One of Kentucky’s greatest frontiersman will step out of Daniel Boone’s shadow and live again when Kentucky Chautauqua presents Mel Hankla in a compelling living history portrayal of Simon Kenton (1755-1836).  Simon Kenton, certain he had killed another boy in a fight over a girl, fled west from Virginia at the age of 16.  He was wrong, but the incident launched him on a life of high adventure.  This program was funded in part by the Kentucky Humanities Council, Inc.
