Roger Dale Anderson

1963-2017

Roger Dale Anderson, 53, of Junction City, went to his Heavenly home on Thursday, April 20, 2017. Born June 20, 1963, he was the son of Mabel Anderson of Junction City and the late Logan Anderson.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Sharon Caldwell Anderson. Roger managed the Western Steer for 18 years. He has worked for Dr. Madar Bux for 40 years and was an employee of Southland Christian Church at the Danville Campus.

Roger enjoyed farming, restoring antique tractors and loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing.

In addition to his wife and mother, he is also survived by two daughters, Jessica (Josh) Wilson of Junction City and Tiffany (Josh) Siler of Stanford; one sister, Rita (Mike) Moore of Junction City; two brothers, James Logan (Debbie) Anderson of Moreland and Frank David (Sherry) Anderson of Danville; three grandchildren, Ryder, Halle and Peyton; dog, Scooby; and aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Southland Christian Church Danville Campus by Brian Lucas with burial in Junction City Cemetery.

Pallbearers are David Anderson, James L. Anderson, Rita Moore, Josh Siler, Josh Wilson, Mike Moore and Jimmy Anderson. Honorary pallbearers are his nieces, nephews and loving church family.
