Correction

The benefit party for Erica Ford Utrera, who is battling breast cancer for the second time, is from 10 p.m. to 3 a.m. Saturday, April 29 at the Wolf Pack Motorcycle Club at 512 S. Fourth Street in Danville.  The time was incorrect in Monday’s story on A1.

VBS clinic

The South District Baptist Association Vacation Bible School Clinic will be 6 p.m. Thursday, April 27 at First Baptist Church Junction City. A snack supper will be served beginning at 5:45 p.m.

The theme for 2017 is Galactic Starveyors: Discovering the God of the Universe.

Bike workshop planned

STANFORD — The Lincoln County Public Library will host Bike Basics Workshop on Thursday, May 4 at 6:15 p.m. Bring the whole family and join us at the library to celebrate National Bike Month. We will learn bike tips and tricks to keep us rollin’ and safe all spring and summer long. Make sure to bring your bike helmet to get it fitted properly. We will be giving away free bike gear (while supplies last).  

Program presented in partnership with Danville Bike and Footwear. This program is free and open to the public. For more information call the library, (606) 365-7513.

Upward Basketball Camp

STANFORD — Play with a purpose basketball camp for boys and girls who are  4 years old through the eighth grade will be held at Stanford Baptist Church Christian Life Center, June 12-16 from 6 to 9 p.m.. Registration dates are April 29, May 13, and May 27 from 9 a.m. until noon at the church. You can also register Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. at the church office. If you have questions, please call the church office at (606) 365-2178. 

The church is located at 204 Church Street in Stanford. The cost of the camp is $37.  May 27 is the last day that registrations will be accepted.
