The Heart of Danville is happy to welcome John Wyatt as its new marketing manager.

“I am excited to welcome John to the team,” says Executive Director Nick Wade. “I know that he will bring new life and ideas to downtown, that will only help us grow.”

Wade says John’s passion for Main Street runs in his blood, as “John’s hire creates a full-circle experience for the Wyatt family and the Heart of Danville.”

John unknowingly stepped into an organization that his father, Clarence Wyatt, co-founded in the 1980s as part of a Leadership Boyle County project.

John graduated from Centre in 2015 with a degree in English and history and, with the exception of a brief 15 months working in Germany, has spent the majority of his life here in Danville.

“Having spent most of my life as part of the Danville and Centre communities, I look forward to working with everyone and enjoying all the wonderful things Danville has to offer,” says John.
