The May 16 article about the Junction City budget states that a $3,000 increase occurred for the council and mayor. The line item for the council and mayor increased from $11,400 to $14,400 to cover a pay increase voted in by an earlier council, which was never reflected in the budget. It does not include a pay increase for Mayor Jim Douglas.
