Mercer students selected to participate in the 2017 Governor’s Scholars Program

HARRODSBURG — Mercer County Senior High School is pleased to announce it has five students who were selected to participate in the Governor’s Scholars program this summer.

The Governor’s Scholars Program is a summer residential program for outstanding high school students in Kentucky who are rising seniors. The program strives to enhance Kentucky’s next generation of civic and economic leaders. Established in 1983, the Governor’s Scholars Program provides academic and personal growth through the balance of a strong liberal arts program with a full co-curricular and residential life experience.
