Garrard County indictments

A Garrard County grand jury indicted the following people on May 19:

• Matthew Clay, 27, 151 Herrington Way, Lancaster: receiving stolen property worth $10,000 or more; selling or receiving vehicle with identification number removed or altered. Bail was set at $5,000 cash. Officer Jeremy Smith with the Garrard County Police Department testified.

Gary Crow, 27, 208 Hamilton Ave., Lancaster: first-degree possession of a controlled substance, heroin. Bail was set at $5,000 cash. Sgt. Wanda Shelton of the Lancaster Police Department testified.

Robin Ford, 36, 133 Pleasant View Drive, Lancaster: first-degree possession of a controlled substance, heroin. Bail was set at $5,000 cash. Deputy Keith Addison with the Boyle County Sheriff’s Department testified.

Sarah B. Giles, 37, 372 Gentry Mill Road, Russell Springs: first-degree possession of controlled substance, methamphetamine; possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail was set at $2,500 cash. Major R. Hughes with the LPD testified.

Randall Goins, 56, 202 Doty Lane, Lancaster: second-degree burglary. Bail was set at $5,000 cash. Sgt. R. Shearer with the LPD testified.

John L. Hunt, 61, 5674 Fall Lick Road, Lancaster: cultivating five or more marijuana plants by maintaining an indoor growing operation with 47 marijuana plants; trafficking in marijuana five pounds or more, enhanced with a firearm. Bail was set at $5,000 cash. Detective D. Allen with Kentucky State Police testified.

Tristen Jeffery, 21, 119 Hillcrest St., Lancaster: theft by unlawful taking $500 or more when he illegally took a 55-inch flat screen TV from the property; third-degree burglary. A summons was issued, Shearer testified.

Michelle Manning, Tates Creek Road, Lexington: driving under the influence of intoxicant; first-degree possession of a controlled substance, heroin; possession of drug paraphernalia. A summons was issued. Shelton testified.

Tristin C. Middleton, 20, 119 Hillcrest St., Lancaster: receiving stolen property $500 or more; third-degree burglary. Bail was set at $5,000 cash. Officer James Napier with the GCPD testified.

Kimberly A. Naylor, 35, 231 North Madison Ave., Richmond: theft by deception, $10,000 or more, when she illegally obtained more than $10,000 from a person through fraud by intentionally creating a false impression as to an alleged settlement from which he would be repaid, when she knew the settlement did not exist; two counts second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument when she possessed and passed a forged receipt with the intent to defraud and injure the victim. Bail was set at $5,000 cash. Paul Rigsby testified.

Shannon Penman, 28, 70 Mason Ave., Lancaster; two counts first-degree trafficking a controlled substance, heroin; first-degree trafficking a controlled substance, meth; possession of drug paraphernalia; possession of marijuana; felon in possession of a handgun; two counts first-degree persistent felony offender. Bail was set at $20,000. Addison testified.

Robin Ford, 36, 133 Pleasant View Drive, Lancaster: first-degree trafficking a controlled substance, meth; possession of drug paraphernalia; possession of marijuana; felon in possession of a handgun; second-degree persistent felony offender. Bail was set at $10,000, Addison testified.

Laken Mulcahy, 23, 259 Colt’s Run, Lancaster: first-degree trafficking a controlled substance, meth; possession of drug paraphernalia; possession of marijuana; felon in possession of a handgun; second-degree persistent felony offender. Bail was set at $10,000. Addison testified.

Keegan Penman, 22, 316 Crab Orchard St., Lancaster: first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, heron; second-degree persistent felony offender. Bail was set at $10,000. Addison testified. 

• Rodman Tolliver, 45, 336 Lee Road, Stanford: DUI second offense; first-degree possession of controlled substance, meth; possession of a synthetic controlled substance, synthetic marijuana; possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail was set at $2,500 cash. Hughes testified.
