Donna S. Douglas Wilmot

1963-2017

Donna S. Douglas Wilmot, 54, of Berea, KY passed away May 30, 2017 at home. Born March 20, 1963 in Danville, KY to Joyce Coleman (Robert) and the late Gary K. Douglas, she was a retired employee of Paint Lick Elementary School where she worked as a custodian. She was a member of Stanford Church of the Nazarene.

Survivors include her husband of 17 years, David Wilmot of Berea, KY; two sons, Joseph Wayne Brown (Asha) of McKinney, KY, and Joshua Paul Gerkey (Kelli) of Turnersville, KY; two brothers, Gary K. “Kenny” Douglas, Jr. of Moreland, KY, and Michael Dale Douglas; one sister, Wanda Renee Roberts of McKinney, KY; six grandchildren, Joseph Glen Brown of Stanford, KY, Christian Brown, Skylar Brown, Cali Wilson, Blake Wilson all of McKinney, KY, and Gwen Barnes of Turnersville, KY; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Jeffrey Dwayne Douglas and Timmy Coleman.

Visitation will be Friday, June 2, 2017 from 5-9 p.m. at Spurlin Funeral Home Chapel, Stanford. Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Saturday, June 3, 2017 at the funeral home with Reverend Vola Brown officiating. Burial will follow at K.P. Hall Cemetery in Kings Mountain, KY.
