A final discussion of the proposed strategic economic development plan for Boyle County will be held tonight at 5:30 p.m. at the Inter-County Energy community room, 1009 Hustonville Road, Danville.

Kyle Talente with RKG Associates will be in attendance, along with public officials and members of the Danville-Boyle County Economic Development Partnership.

RKG was hired last summer for close to $84,000 to develop a strategic economic development plan. Talente has been working with the EDP’s working group since then. In April, a draft plan was released that calls for restructuring the EDP and hiring a new chief operating officer position.

Following tonight’s meeting, the EDP will have a special called meeting at 8 a.m. Wednesday to discuss the final draft of the plan.
