Community agency asking for AC donations

Blue Grass Community Action is asking for donations of new or gently used air conditioners and fans for the sick people of Boyle County. BGCAP is also accepting monetary donations to purchase these items. BGCAP serves the most disadvantaged and disabled individuals and strives to help them become more self-reliant.

A doctor’s statement is required in order to provide a household with an air conditioner. BGCAP is the only organization in Boyle County which provides this service and funds are depleted. All donations are tax-deductible and 100 percent of donations go directly to client assistance. To make a donation, please call Community Developer Donna Linton at (859) 236-2955 or drop them offat 225 West Walnut St. in Danville. Receipts for tax purposes will be provided to the donor.
