Morning Pointe to host Veterans Affairs seminar
Do you know how you will pay for senior living? Did you know wartime veterans and surviving spouses may be eligible for tax-free monthly income from the Department of Veterans Affairs?
Morning Pointe of Danville will be offering a free workshop for veterans and their families to get more information on this subject from 10:30 – 11:30 a.m. Thursday, July 20. Guest speakers will be Randy Roberts and Eileen Ward, Veterans Benefits Representatives with the Kentucky Department of Veterans Affairson. Refreshments will be served. Ottenheim Fish fry
OTTENHEIM — The St. Sylvester Catholic Church, located on Ky. 643 in Ottenheim, is having a fish fry from 5-7 p.m. on Friday, June 23. The menu is fish, hush puppies, french fries, cole slaw, baked beans, dessert and drink. Cost for adults is $6, children ages 6-12, $3, and children under age 5 can eat free. Waynesburg Bluegrass music benefit
WAYNESBURG — The Waynesburg Area Resuce Squad is having a free bluegrass singing, featuring eight bluegrass bands, beginning at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 24 at the building located at 16030 Ky. 1247 in Waynesburg. Concessions will be available and all proceeds will go to support the fire and rescue squads.
