Holiday closings

Fourth of July closings in Boyle County include: Boyle County Courthouse, Danville-Boyle County Animal Shelter, recycling center and all convenience centers. Old Bridge curbside recycling pickup will be Wednesday, July 5.

Schedule change at library 

Due to the holiday, there will be no storytimes on Tuesday, July 4 at the Boyle County Public Library, and due to a special performance, there will be no Science Clubs on Thursday, June 29. 

Meeting

Boyle County Ethics Commission — 9 a.m. Wednesday, July 19 in the grad jury room, second floor of the Boyle County Courthouse.

Correction

A name was misspelled in the winners of the Boyle County Fair’s boys 6-9 months pageant. The winners were Lincoln Crossfield, Dennie Martin II and Damian “Butterpop” Anderson.
