Police blotter from July 31 and Aug. 1

JULY 31

8 a.m., request to notify state traffic office in reference to the red light being out at Third Street and Lexington Avenue.

9 a.m., caller wants to speak to a Junction City officer about possible abuse to his elderly father.

10:17 a.m., caller said a female was struggling with a male while yelling that he had stolen her money on Grant Street; the male pushed her down and left in a tan car with tinted windows; unable to locate.

11:57 a.m., hospital staff is requesting assistance in reference to a level 1 trauma.

12:16 a.m., attempting to locate the location of a stabbing.

1:04 p.m., report that a vehicle on Michelle Court was broken into overnight.

1:30 p.m., an older female at the hospital has a shoulder injury due to a public transportation vehicle running off of the road earlier today.

1:38 p.m., a female shoplifter was at Hobby Lobby; the business has its property back and the shoplifter has left but management still wants contact with an officer.

2:04 p.m., a female on Benedict Drive is wanting to assist a non-English speaking resident in failing a report in reference to his dog being bitten by other dogs on Benedict Drive; animal control notified.

2:44 p.m., arrest made on Grant Street.

4:03 p.m., report of a physical domestic altercation in a silver colored SUV near Temple Baptist Church on the bypass; arrest made.

4:27 p.m., a white flatbed truck loaded with lumber is parked in the middle of Lancaster Road at the bridge near the county line; it is unoccupied.

5:07 p.m., caller is reporting that two dogs are outside of Plainview Drive residence without food or water.

5:13 p.m., there is a suspicious male walking on Knob Lick Road carrying a beer and a trash bag; unable to locate.

5:24 p.m., a male in a blue and white stripped shirt tried to get into vehicles in the parking lot near Workout Anytime; he walked away heading toward Liquor Barn; unable to locate suspect.

6:08 p.m., a 22-year-old male has severe laceration to his neck due to an assault that occurred on Harberson Lane.

6:11 p.m., two 5-year-old children are throwing rocks at passing vehicles.

7:08 p.m., on an open 911 call, people were heard talking about someone being shot and stabbed; 7:13 p.m., they are now plotting at Hardee’s BP in Junction City; unable to locate suspects.

7:25 p.m., a male checked in at Comfort Suites has active warrants; subject will try to fight law enforcement.

7:36 p.m., several juveniles are blocking First Street at the Bellevue Cemetery and are not allowing vehicles in or out of the cemetery; there are several vehicles involved; juveniles are playing Pokemon; caller stated she was able to get out so no officer assistance is needed.

8:23 p.m., caller’s moped was stolen while inside of Five Star; subject fled north on Denmark Drive; arrest made.

9:04 p.m., there is a fire in the Old Shakertown Road area; 9:18 p.m., fire department reports fire has been put out.

9:14 p.m., two females just used a counterfeit $10 bill at McDonald’s drive-thru; manager has pulled them over.

9:45 p.m., a physical domestic altercation just occurred at Harberson Lane residence.

10:15 p.m., heavy smoke is in the Timberland Lane area; flames can be seen near the dead end of the road.

11:14 p.m., two-vehicle injury accident at the intersection of Hustonville Road and the bypass; officers to be on the lookout for the fleeing vehicle, it’s a white tow truck with a flat bed with possible front end damage; update to look for a newer model white Ford truck possibly pulling a cattle trailer or trailer with roofing material.

11:55 p.m., vehicle stop on U.S. 150; arrest made.

AUGUST 1

12:10 a.m., there is a brush fire on Timberland Lane.

12:31 a.m., a female juvenile has made suicidal statements and has commented about running away.

1:53 a.m., a suspicious male is in caller’s yard on Alum Springs Crosspike; extra patrol is requested.

2:04 a.m., a female has fled a domestic altercation on foot in Perryville.

2:10 a.m., Harrodsburg Police Department is requesting to speak to a Sheriff’s officer in reference to a physical assault that occurred on Harberson Lane.

8:33 a.m., report of a theft of a GPS from a vehicle overnight on Michele Court.

9:42 a.m., caller believes she is being poisoned by someone who keeps bringing her food.

11:24 a.m., extra patrol on Harberson Drive due to the altercation that occurred there yesterday.

12:32 p.m., female is at police station lobby in reference to items being stolen off her porch on East Lexington Avenue over the last several days.

12:59 p.m., several young children are playing in the road without any supervision.

1:09 p.m., arrest made at Cheryl Lane residence.

4:39 p.m., caller’s client will be turning himself in tomorrow and will be turning in the knife used in the assault.

5:06 p.m., possible physical altercation in progress at Shakerpoint Apartments; pictures have been knocked off the walls due to subjects hitting the adjoining wall; gone upon officer’s arrival.

5:37 p.m., caller from North Carolina is requesting police check on a subject but they don’t know an address, birthday or any other information; subject may be living at a marina.

5:50 p.m., a verbal altercation is in progress at Five Star on Denmark Drive; male driver of a white SUV is refusing to let the caller out of her vehicle; assistance given.

6:07 p.m., a female is in the emergency room with injuries from a physical domestic altercation; Kentucky State Police requested for the altercation that took place in Garrard County.

7:31 p.m., two males may have broken into an unoccupied house on Lexington Avenue and took a tool box; they left on foot toward Main Street; officer secured two side entrances.

7:57 p.m., caller has dash cam footage of injury accident from last night.

8:33 p.m., caller saw two males in the East Walnut Street area who were looking into houses; they were picked up in a tan car and headed toward Stanford Road; extra patrol requested.

8:35 p.m., caller’s husband stole her medication and didn’t pay their hotel bill before leaving her at the Red Roof Inn.

9:37 p.m., a suspicious male was looking in the windows at Danville High School.

10:14 p.m., Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office is wanting to speak to a deputy at the county line in reference of a suspect due to Lincoln jail refusing to take out of county warrant arrests due to being overbooked; arrest made.

10:31 p.m., complaint that several people who may be under the influence are driving around Pecos Circle in trucks and are being loud and doing burnouts.

11:14 p.m., arrest made at Five Star.
