Congratulations to Rochelle Bayless, originator and manager of Grace Café, on her second anniversary.

Grace Café commands a top role in the circle of quality dining places in Boyle and surrounding counties. This has been done not as a primary function, but to provide a “pay what you can” atmosphere that is not “food line.”

This atmosphere is furnished in a light, bright, clean and uplifting environment. The management of the staff and volunteer groups are totally awesome. 

They are bringing the most healthy, fresh taste to the area and not sacrificed by price or freshness. Five of us dined on Tuesday, Aug. 1, and I have no idea who paid what. We were from a substance use disorder support meeting.

Her recent accounting that there is a $2.38 cost differential between a no-charge and what customers are donating as they can. This is a fantastic accounting to the public for the value of her organization and the need for more people that can pay a little more to show up and support Grace Café.
