Greene receives Employee of the Month award

Chad Greene of Perryville was selected as Employee of the Month for July 2017 at Northpoint Training Center. Greene began his employment at NTC in May 2014 as a carpenter supervisor. He was promoted to mechanical maintenance and operations supervisor in August 2016. Greene was selected based on his outstanding job performance. He received a letter of commendation and was assigned a reserved parking space for the month.

Derrick Glover of Somerset was promoted to correctional sergeant on August 1 at Northpoint Training Center. Glover began his employment at NTC as a correctional officer in July 2015.

Allyson Rainwater, also of Somerset, was promoted to correctional sergeant on August 1. Rainwater began her employment at Northpoint Training Center as a correctional officer in February 2015.

Ephraim McDowell Health welcomes Dr. Kelly Pacitti

Ephraim McDowell Health welcomes endocrinologist, Kelly Pacitti, D.O., to the medical staff. She will be seeing patients at Ephraim McDowell Diabetes and Endocrinology Center, located at 216 West Walnut St. in Danville.

Dr. Pacitti is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Birmingham-Southern College in Birmingham, Alabama and her medical degree from Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Blacksburg, Virginia. She completed her residency at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, Ohio and an endocrinology fellowship at the University of Kentucky.

Dr. Pacitti has a special interest in type 1 and type 2 diabetes, pituitary, adrenal, and thyroid disorders, including thyroid nodules and ultrasound. She lives in Nicholasville with her husband, Andrew. During her free time, she enjoys horseback riding and spending time with her family.
