On behalf of the Danville-Boyle County Chamber of Commerce I would like to commend the Planning & Zoning Board of Commissioners for the recent hire of Steve Hunter as their new executive director.   

I invited Mr. Hunter, on very short notice, to attend the August Danville-Boyle County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors’ meeting. He accepted and spent over an hour sharing his philosophy with the Chamber Board of Directors.

He answered questions, listened to comments and concerns, and projected a very positive approach to planning and zoning.

The Chamber Board appreciates the hiring of a business-friendly, forward-thinking professional.

And we are excited about the possibilities for our business community.

Mr. Hunter’s experience and vision fit well with the current needs of Danville-Boyle County. We were impressed with his ideas, his openness and enthusiasm, and his common-sense approach to planning. We look forward to a long and productive relationship.
