Church revival starts Wednesday

HUSTONVILLE — There will be a revival at Charity First Church of God on College Street in Hustonville Aug. 16-20. Special music begins at 6:30 p.m. and the service begins at 7 p.m. Bro. Dan Frederick will deliver the message. Pastor is Marvin Hatton.

Bate Middle School SBDM — 5 p.m. tonight, Aug. 15 at the Bate Middle School library. Items on the agenda include: reading policy, cell phone policy; and student dress code.

Boyle County Genealogical and Historical Society —  6:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 21 at the Boyle County Public Library. Those  who have connections to the New Austria settlement will be interested in attending Carolyn Crabtree’s lecture and Power Point presentation that evening. Some of the names include in the presentation include Bodner, Feistritzer, Martin, Burka, Clarkson, Gerlach, Kratzwald, Leaber, Rosel, Rosenauer, Seltsam, and Walker. There are many others. Everyone is welcome. The next meeting will be Sept. 18 at the Perryville Battlefield museum.
