Carol Pittman

1947-2017

Carol Jean Kidd Pittman, 69, Crab Orchard, KY, died Thursday morning at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center, Danville.

Carol was born in Georgetown, KY. Shortly thereafter, her parents, Tom and Myrtle Brown Kidd, moved to Lincoln County where she attended Crab Orchard High and lived the rest of her life.

First and foremost, Carol was a devoted and supportive mother to sons, Scottie L. and Larry Ray Pittman. She had two grandchildren, Ryan and Candice Pittman. She also had two fur babies, her beloved dogs, Prissy and Cassie. She was a member of New Hope First Church of God and loved music and singing. 

She was self-employed as a housekeeping contractor. She was a fun loving, determined, goal oriented woman who approached everything at full speed. She loved gardening and researched each item before planting then admired the finish of abundant harvest.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Paul Ray Kidd, Thomas Kidd, Jr. and Helen Brown.

There will be a Celebration of Life service at a later date.
