152th Anniversary

LANCASTER — On Sunday Sept. 3, Pleasant Valley Baptist Church will be observing its 152nd church anniversary and homecoming. The 3 p.m. guests will be Pastor William Howard and the Evergreen Baptist Church, of Lawrenceburg. Dinner will be served. Everyone is invited. Bishop Joseph Shea Brown, pastor.

Homecoming service

LANCASTER — First Baptist Church, Davistown, in Lancaster, will have a homecoming service on Sunday, Sept. 3. Afternoon service begins at 3 p.m. with guest preacher Rev. Anthony Givens of Cedar Top Baptist Church in Wilmore.
