Artist to perform Saturday at West T. Hill Saturday
Alissa Klein will perform 6-7:30 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 16 at West T. Hill Community Theatre, 117 Larimore Lane in Danville. Klein will perform songs from her new CD, “Cardiology.” Tickets are $10 at the door.
Correction
The Judge Samuel McDowell Lecture Series will begin at 12:30 p.m. and run through 5 p.m. Sept. 22 at the Boyle County Public Library. The Friday afternoon lectures are part of a weekend “Tribute to Judge Samuel McDowell.” Lectures will include information about Samuel McDowell, Capt. John McDowell, Ephraim McDowell, and a day in the life of a colonial McDowell. This event will be held in the Community Room and is free and open to the public. The start time was printed incorrectly in Thursday’s paper.
