Mercer grand jury indictments

The following people were indicted by a Mercer County grand jury on Sept. 13:
• Jeffery Reynolds, 35, 202 South College St., Harrodsburg: possession of a handgun by a convicted felon; first-degree persistent felony offender. Bail was set at $20,000. Mike Shewmaker of the Harrodsburg Police Department testified.
• George Vaughn, 49, 105 Bushtown Road, Harrodsburg: possession of a handgun by a convicted felon; first-degree possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine; receiving stolen property worth between, $500 and $10,000 when he was in possession of a vehicle owned by Michael White, knowing it was stolen; possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail was set at $20,000. Bill Cruce with the Mercer County Sheriff’s Office testified.
• Kenneth Slugantz, 56, 426 Main St., Salvisa: three counts first-degree wanton endangerment by shooting a firearm in the direction of David Tyler, Jaselyn Tyler and Deputy Matt Swabey. Bail was set at $10,000. Swabey testified.
• Laura Cinnamon, 52, 1865 Shakertown Road or 329 North Main St., Harrodsburg: first-degree possession of a controlled substance, meth; possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail was set at $5,000. Chris Booth with the HPD testified. Also, third-degree burglary; and theft by unlawful taking less than $500 from Walmart. Bail was set at $5,000. Aaron Steele with the HPD testified.
• Ronnie Morris, 34, 11711 Maple Way, Louisville: making false statement or misrepresenting to receive benefits more than $100 when he failed to report a change in factors affecting his eligibility to receive public assistance. Bail was set at $5,000. Lisa Grigsby with the Kentucky Office of Inspector General testified.
• Daniel Wilkinson, 41, 6760 Ky. 198, Hustonville: second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument when he possessed a forged check for $2,495.01 drawn on Nassau Financial Federal Credit Union. Bail was set at $5,000. Andrew Lay with the HPD testified.
• Jeremy Vaught, 33, 450 West Office St., Harrodsburg: theft by unlawful taking between $500 and $10,000 by taking personal items from Anderson Dean Park. Bail was set at $5,000. Richard Reilly with the HPD testified.
• Michael Tyler, 38, 625 Horn Road, Harrodsburg: first-degree possession of a controlled substance, fentanyl. Bail was set at $5,000. TJ Godbey with the HPD testified.
• Kayla Pinkston, 30, 200 Longview St., Harrodsburg: tampering with physical evidence. Bail was set at $5,000. Ryan Evans with the HPD testified.
• Charlie Mattingly, 37, 1819 Paradise Camp Road, Harrodsburg: possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. Bail was set at $5,000. Wes Gaddis with the MCSO testified.
• David Lewis, 48, 2496 Cummins Ferry Road, Salvisa: receiving stolen property, firearm, when he had in his possession a firearm owned by Zane Bugg which he knew was stolen. Bail was set at $5,000. Gaddis testified.
• April Fulton, 42, 93 Graystone Way, Stanford: first-degree trafficking in controlled substance, meth. Bail was set at $10,000. Derek Patterson with the HPD testified.
• Michael White, 51, 554 Bellows Mill Road, Harrodsburg: first-degree trafficking in controlled substance, meth. Bail was set at $10,000. Patterson testified.
• Christin Hungate, 43, 483 McAfee Lane, Salvisa: first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, meth. Bail was set at $10,000. Aaron Miller with the HPD testified.
• Gerald Hughes, 28, 195 Candlewood Drive, Danville: first-degree trafficking in controlled substance, cocaine. Bail was set at $10,000. Casey Rucker with the Burgin Police Department testified.
