PERRYVILLE — At 7 p.m. tonight, Walden Funeral Home (207 S Bragg St. in Perryville)will host a special book signing. The eight-book series titled, “Woody, The Kentucky Weiner,” with excerpts appearing in The Advocate-Messenger (as “Woody and Chloe”) also appears in other newspapers across the country.
Woody and Chloe are actual miniature dachshunds and are the star characters of the series by Ron and Leigh Anne Florence. On average, see about 2,000 kids per week as they travel to schools and present Woody’s signature motivational presentation titled “Woody’s Five Ways to Be Successful” and also writing workshops.
