Flip FabriQue, a Quebec-based circus troupe of seven acrobats committed to joy, playfulness, and friendship, makes their Norton Center debut with a high-spirited production calledAttrape-moi(Catch Me!) on October 26 in Newlin Hall.
“Recruiting the finest and most athletic acrobats from around the world, Flip FabriQue is a cirque-type show that will keep you on the edge of your seat!” exclaimed Steve Hoffman, Norton Center Executive Director. “Death-defying feats, fast paced action and a bit of good humor makes this a perfect family experience. Be prepared for a no-safety-net good time!”
Catch Me!is a gravity defying spectacle featuring acrobatics, a trampo-wall, hula hoops, juggling, and aerialist techniques in a crowd-pleasing cirque sensation for adults and children alike. This troupe of incredible artists performs amazing feats of agility and skill in a fast-paced, innovative show that has been lauded for its technical ability and panache. Veterans of esteemed companies such as Cirque du Soleil and Cirque Éloize, the Flip FabriQue troupe, says theNew York Times, “projects an irrepressible spirit of fun and, yes, it’s catching.”
Flip FabriQue is a tight-knit troupe whose identity is built around the thoughts and emotions of each member. They are all true friends that journey in the same direction, hoping to promote joy, playfulness and friendship. And asLa Pressenotes, “all these mind-blowing acts are performed by six athletes at the height of their art.”
