At 6 p.m. on Nov. 2, Gen. Howard Hunt will speak in the community room. He will share information on understanding military medals and ribbons, as well as other significant memorabilia, which many families have from their relatives who have served their country.

Hunt also designed a simple and respectful display piece which families can copy to preserve and share special items which have been passed on to them. Hunt is known for his willingness to meet and share with veterans and their families.

The event is free and open to the public. For more information, email the Arts Commission at arts@historicdanvilleky.com.
