OCTOBER 26

1:41 a.m., a male is asleep in a train car at Norfolk Southern Railroad on West Walnut Street; caller is requesting an officer meet at the main office.

8:13 a.m., report of burglary and a theft at Good Neighbor Pharmacy.

8:22 a.m., officers assisting Atmos with a gas leak at Lexington and Kentucky avenues.

9:02 a.m., a suspicious male in a small pickup truck has been parking in the Red Roof Inn parking lot and sitting there for several days in a row; subject gone before officer’s arrival; 9:21 a.m., subject located at McDonald’s and told not to trespass on Red Roof Inn property.

9:47 a.m., report of a reckless driver in a City of Danville white truck headed toward a job on Streamland Drive; unable to locate.

11:36 a.m., officers are to watch for a stolen white flat bed truck with a crane reported from Garrard County.

12:25 p.m., request to check on the welfare of a male in a green truck who has been in the Walmart parking lot all day; subject checks out OK.

1:20 p.m., caller’s father may be under the influence and is having some sort of mental issues.

2:50 p.m., animal control is requesting assistance with a horse that is loose on Chrisman Lane.

4:04 p.m., request for an officer to check on a suspicious white vehicle parked behind a residence on Vail Drive; plate has been cancelled by DOT and is not the most current for the vehicle.

4:28 p.m., three juveniles are banging on the door and attempting to instigate an altercation with two juveniles inside the residence.

6:06 p.m., a male is slumped over the wheel of a vehicle at Southland Shopping Center; subject gone upon officer’s arrival.

6:44 p.m., a burglary occurred earlier today at Cheryl Lane residence.

9:15 p.m., a physical altercation just occurred on Stanford Road; female has also taken the caller’s service dog.

9:15 p.m., vehicle top at Maple Avenue and the bypass; arrest made.

9:36 p.m., papers served to subject on Alta Avenue; arrest made.
