Christmas Bazaar

Grace & Faith Church’s Christmas Bazaar (in the old Grider Furniture building Junction City) will be held Saturday, Nov. 11 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Lots of vendors will be there with all kinds of Christmas presents and decor. The church will be serving a soup and sandwich lunch and having a silent auction.

St. James to have yard sale and buffet

St. James AME Church, 124 E. Walnut St., will have a yard sale and breakfast buffet Saturday. The breakfast is from 7-11 a.m., and the yard sale starts at 8 a.m. For carry out order, call (859) 236-3241. 

Outreach to widows and widowers

PERRYVILLE — The South District Association of local Southern Baptist Churches will be hosting a free meal and time of fellowship as part of their intentional outreach to non-traditional families, including widows and widowers from 12:30- 1 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 12 at Perryville Baptist Church Fellowship Hall, 202 South Bragg St. A cash donation jar will be available. Thanksgiving and Christmas can be a very difficult time for widows and widowers, thus the South District wants to provide support and encouragement on how to “survive the holidays”. All widows and widowers, regardless of church membership status, are invited to attend.
