Howard W. Wells, resident of Danville, Kentucky, formerly of Tully, New York, passed away Sunday, November 12, 2017 at the age of 73. Howard, an Army veteran, was an avid fisherman, car racing enthusiast and community volunteer. He was employed for more than 35 years as a financial advisor. 

Howard was born in Monticello, New York, the second of three children, to Charles Kenneth Wells and Jessie Irene Hitt (née Miller). He was preceded in death by his parents, and sister Caryle Erhardt Canfield. 

Howard is survived by his son Brian (Katie) Wells, step-daughter Greta (Ben) Urbanek, and step-son, Chris Spas. Howard will be sadly missed by grandchildren, Sierra, Zachary, Jacob, Alaina, Christian, Madison, Conner, his brother Richard (ELF) Wells, nieces and a nephew.

At Howard’s request, no services will be held. Memorial donations may be made to the Disabled American Veterans Charitable Service Trust.
