Piling up

Sunday afternoon Mindy Wilson and her children Sophie, 11, and Alex, 7, worked together hauling leaves from their backyard to the curb of their front yard on Boone Trail for the city leaf pickup. Wilson said she grew up in Arizona and never got to rake leaves as a child. Alex said he was not having any fun. But Sophie cheerfully said, “I’m in it for the hot chocolate!”
