Boyle Grand Jury hands up 16 indictments

The following people were indicted by a Boyle County grand jury on Nov. 16:

• Alan Atkinson, 30, 102 Baybrook Circle Nicholasville: receiving stolen property $500 or more, less than $10,000, by knowingly and unlawfully possessing personal items with a value of $500 or more, less than $10,000, owned by Health Care Service Group. Bail set at $5,000. Chris Damron with the Kentucky State Police testified.

• Michael Bradford, 50, 13 West Eades Danville: fourth-degree assault. Bail was set at $5,000. Russell Preston with the Junction City Police Department testified.

• Jeremiah Brock, 38, 116 E. Broadway Danville: theft by deception, $500 ore more, less than $1,000; persistent felony offender. Bail set at $10,000. Monte Owens with KSP testified.

• Michael Brock Jr., 44, 8051 Camp Nelson Road Nicholasville: first-degree possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine; possession of drug paraphernalia; driving under the influence. Bond was set at $5,000. Adam Wilson with the Danville Police Department testified.

• Kristin Cope, 43, 825 City Dump Road Booneville: two counts of theft by deception, $500 or more, less than $10,000. Bail set at $5,000. Damron with KSP testified. 

• William Ford, 30, 820 E. Main Street Danville: first-degree bail jumping. Bond is set at $10,000. Kari Lamb testified.

• Jeffrey Galloway, 34, 80 Bellview Street Junction City: abuse of a corpse, failure of a person to report death of a person. Bail was set at $2,000. Owens with KSP testified.

• Nathan Griffin, 24, 161 Shearin Ave. Danville: abuse of a corpse, failure of a person to report death of a person. Bail was set at $2,000. Owens with KSP testified.

• Richard Haight, 31, 4460 Pine Grove Road Crab Orchard: first-degree fleeing or evading; first-degree wanton endangerment; receiving stolen property $500 or more and less than $10,000 by knowingly or unlawfully possessing a vehicle by Billie Jo King; second-degree fleeing or evading; possessing drug paraphernalia; driving under the influence; operating a motor vehicle while license was revoked or suspended. Bond set at $10,000. Wilson with Danville PD testified.

• Daniel Hogue, 64, 245 W. Ila Ave. Danville: unlawful possession of a firearm on school property when he knowingly carried a firearm on the property of the Boyle County Schools. Bond is set at $5,000. Kody Cloud with the Boyle County Sheriff’s Office testified.

• Paul Johnson, 53, 182 Boyle Lane Junction City, two indictments: second-degree assault, persistent felony offender; failure to comply with the sex offender registry. Bail set at $20,000 and at $20,000. Kyle Lyons and Cloud with Boyle SO testified.

• Joseph Kelly, 42, 202 Althea Drive Danville: second-degree manslaughter, first-degree wanton endangerment, driving under the influence. Bail set at $15,000. Kevin Peel with Danville PD  testified.

• Anna McCord, 43, 104 Clearwater Court Georgetown: knowingly exploiting an adult over $300. Bail set at $10,000. AJ Mullins with Danville PD testified.

• Vincent Napier, 50, 1860 S. Danville Bypass Danville: failure to comply with sex offender registry. Bail set at $10,000. Philip Dean with the Boyle County SO testified.

• Dustin Price, 24, 685 Ben Ali Drive #408 Danville: second-degree sexual abuse, when being an employee of a detention facility, he subjected a person who is at least 18 years of age and who he knows is incarcerated, to sexual contact. Bail was set at $2,000. Owens with KSP testified.

• Cameron Shields, 19, 94 Coachmans Lane Eminence: first-degree bail jumping for failing to appear for a status hearing in the Boyle County Circuit Court. Bail set at $10,000. Lamb testified.

• Nicholas Wilburn, 38, 426 Knob Lick Road Junction City: abuse of a corpse, failure of a person to report death of a person. Bail was set at $2,000. Owens with KSP testified.

The following people were directly indicted on information:

• Curtis W. Cook, 40, 105 Adams Court Stanford: no operator’s license; first-degree possession of a controlled substance, heroin; possession of drug paraphernalia. 

• Anna Cummins, 43, 601 Phillips Lane Junction City: second-degree escape.
