Mitchellsburg Convenience Center re-opens

The Mitchellsburg Convenience Center, located at 4175 Mitchellsburg Road, will re-open for solid waste and recycling disposal/collection on Tuesday, Nov. 28. Proof of residency is required.  

Normal business hours will be Tuesday through Saturday 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. and closed Sunday and holidays. Telephone number is (859) 332-4918.

The Perryville Convenience Center, located at 995 Harrodsburg Road, will return to regular days and hours of operation beginning Monday, Nov. 27 and will be open Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, 7 a.m. – 5 p.m. and is closed Tuesday, Wednesday, Sunday and holidays. Telephone is (859) 332-8225.

ASAP to meet and host webinar

Boyle County Agency for Substance Abuse Policy (ASAP) — 8:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 1 in the lower level conference room of the Boyle County Health Department, South Third Street, Danville. The meeting will be followed at 10 a.m. by a one-hour webinar, “The Opioid Epidemic and Drug Testing in Today’s Workplace:  Advice for Employers”. All interested persons are invited to the meeting, and to the webinar.
