Three more arrested in SO sex sting operation

Editor’s note: Since this story was published, the charges against Larry J. Parrott have been dismissed with prejudice and his record has been expunged.

Three more people have been arrested after they attempted to meet with who they believed to be a juvenile, for the reason of engaging in sexual intercourse.

According to the Boyle County Sheriff’s Office, all three men arrested were using a social media app to conduct these crimes.

Arrested were: Larry J. Parrott, 39, of Willisburg, arrested Nov. 3;  Richard D. Fransen, 37, of Louisville, was arrested Nov. 10; and Andrew D. Hardin, 26, of Lebanon, was arrested Nov. 27. All three were charged with attempted first-degree unlawful transaction with a minor, and prohibited use of electronic communication system to procure a minor and lodged in the Boyle County Detention Center.

According to the detention center, Parrott and Fransen each were released on a $20,000 cash bond. Hardin’s bond is still pending. 

The other men arrested in the operation earlier in November are: Mark A. Shelton, 33, of Stanford; Shawn A. Williams, 39, of Springfield; Dequan L. Brown, 23, of Lebanon; Joseph A. Brown, 49, of Danville; Hubert D. Carter, 52, of Ennis, Texas; Michael S. Cruse, 46, of Columbus, Mississippi; and Justin P. Jones, 40, of Stanford.
