Betty Louise Parks

1940-2017

Betty Louise Parks, 77, of Danville, formerly of Corbin, passed away on Sat., Dec. 9, 2017 at Ephraim McDowell Medical Center, Danville.

Born in Pulaski Co., KY, she was a homemaker who loved gardening, cooking, and listening to Bluegrass music.

She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas W. Parks; son Thomas Parks, Jr.; parents Harland Arthur and Alma Burdine Arthur; siblings Bernice Foley, Elvie Cable, James, Charles, Johnny and Roger Arthur.

She is survived by her daughters Vicky May and Debbie Parks; step-son Roger Parks; grandchildren Ciara May and Logan Stringer; brothers Bernard and Kenny Arthur; and several nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Funeral service will be held at 11 am Wed. Dec. 13, 2017 at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Corinth Cemetery with Ricky, Randy, Robbie, Ray and Roger Cable and Terry Arthur as pallbearers.

Visitation is 6-8 pm Tues. at Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home, 607 Master St., Corbin, KY.
