A Danville man was arrested by the Kentucky State Police on 20 counts of possession of matter portraying a sex performance by a minor Tuesday evening.

Leonard Riley, 42, was arrested by the Electronic Crime Branch of KSP.

An undercover Internet Crimes Against Children investigation was launched by the branch after discovering the suspect in possession of images depicting child sexual exploitation online, according to KSP.

The investigation resulted in the execution of a search warrant at a residence in Danville on Tuesday. Equipment used to facilitate the crime was seized and taken to KSP’s forensic laboratory for examination. The investigation is ongoing.

Riley faces Class D felony charges, punishable by one to five years in prison. He remained lodged in the Boyle County Detention Center Wednesday.
