Our featured pets this week are Josh and Nora.

Josh

Josh is an attractive domestic shorthair tabby. He appears to be about one year old. Josh is a very friendly fellow and showed up on someone’s porch one day and then decided to stay. The homeowner had cat allergies, so Josh was brought to the humane society for the chance at a fresh start. He is a very sweet boy and is accepting of new situations. What a great gift for both Josh and his adopters if he could find his forever home by Christmas!

Nora is a precious 3 ½ month-old mixed breed puppy. She may be part beagle and part terrier and will probably be a small to medium size dog when full grown. Nora’s big brown eyes will touch your heart. She loves to play and give puppy kisses and then snuggle down for a nap in your arms. Nora will make a great addition to the lucky family that chooses her for adoption!

Nora

Holiday greetings to all of our friends in the community! We appreciate the wonderful job that our dedicated volunteers do to help keep our programs running smoothly and make them such a success. We thank everyone who supports the humane society both monetarily and with supplies to help us care for the animals. We also thank our adopters who opened their hearts and homes to over 1000 dogs, cats, kittens and puppies during 2017. We wish everyone and their pets a wonderful holiday season and all the best in the upcoming New Year!
