Correll is the author of the “May Hollow Trilogy,” which includes the novels “Grounded,” “Guarded” and “Granted.” She lives on a farm in Central Kentucky with her husband, Jess, and an assortment of grass-fed cattle, horses, goats and chickens. Correll created a business selling goat milk soap called Kentucky Soaps & Such that now operates as a soap-making factory and retail shop on Main Street in Stanford. She is also the concept designer for the Wilderness Road Guest Houses & Rooms, which aims to provide “modern hospitality in a historic setting,” and she and Jess are co-owners of the Bluebird Café, a farm-to-table restaurant, with executive chef William Hawkins.

Her book, “Grounded,” became an Amazon bestseller in 2014 in various categories of inspirational fiction. Adapted into a play by Chelsea Marcantel, “Grounded” premiered at Pioneer Playhouse in the summer of 2015, becoming the second highest grossing play in the history of the playhouse.

Also, the audio book for “Grounded” was a finalist for the Audie Award in Inspirational Fiction for 2015, and was recently nominated for best voiceover by the Society for Voice Arts and Sciences in the category of audio book narration – inspirational/faith- based fiction.
