The group Pleine Air Artists of Central Kentucky met Monday afternoon at the Community Arts Center to paint and enjoy each other’s company. Normally the group meets at various locations outdoors to paint different landscapes, but during the winter months, they meet indoors. Donna Forgacs was the host and set up two still life displays for the artists to paint – one of a Christmas theme with evergreens, roses and pears, and a second of pastel flowers.

Marie Taylor, of Danville, chose not to paint, but to work on her crystal wind chime.
