A man was airlifted to the University of Kentucky Medical Center Thursday night after the he lost control around 7 p.m. on Lancaster Road.

Johnny Shepard, 48 of Lancaster, was heading west on Ky. 52 when he lost control, according to the Boyle County Sheriff’s Office. His car rolled multiple times, going through a fence.

Alcohol is believed to have been a factor in the crash. No word was available on his condition.
