Choirs are ready to start again 

Resonance, a male choir, will hold an open rehearsal for new and returning singers 7 p.m. Monday at First Christian Church, 555 E. Lexington Ave., Danville. New members may also join during the Jan. 22 rehearsal, at 7 p.m. at the church. 

Sounding Joy already held it’s open rehearsal for new and returning members, but new members will also be welcome to join its next rehearsal, planned for 7 p.m. in the Audrey Gillespie Recital Hall in the basement of Norton Center for the Arts. 

The meeting and auditions for new singers for Danville Children’s Choir will be 7 p.m. Monday at Lexington Avenue Baptist Church, 339 W. Lexington Ave. Danville. Regular rehearsals begin 7 p.m. Jan. 29 at LABC.
