Bradfordsville Jamboree planned for Friday
Bradfordsville Jamboree will be held Friday, Jan. 19 at the Old Bradfordsville School gym. Admission is $10. Doors open at 5 p.m. for meal of pulled pork barbecue, pinto beans, cornbread, potato salad, dessert, and drink for $9. Concessions will also be available. Music begins at 7 p.m. with Kentucky South Band/Phillip Clarkson and special guest, Christy Miller. For more information, call (270) 337-4666 or (270) 337-2832. All proceeds go towards upkeep of building.
Republic cancels services Tuesday
Republic Services cancelled all recycling collection and solid waste collection services for business, industry, and residential in Danville-Boyle County on Tuesday. Weather permitting, Republic Services will continue collection routes Wednesday.

Great American Brass Band Festival Board – 12 p.m. Monday, Jan. 29 at the GABBF office, 117 South Third St., quarterly board meeting.
Safe Communities Coalition of Central Kentucky — 2 p.m., Thursday Jan. 25 the organization will host an accreditation ceremony at the Boyle County Public Library. Refreshments will be served.
Danville-Boyle County Airport Board – 6 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 18 at the airport.
Danville-Boyle County Recreation Commission – 4:15 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 17, Boyle County Courthouse. Agenda includes: Treasurer’s report; old business; program report; maintenance report; and new business.
Danville-Boyle County Convention and Visitors Bureau — 9 a.m. Friday, Jan. 19 at the McKinney Conference Center for a special called meeting. Kyle Talente with RKG and Associates will be giving a presentation on the hotel feasibility study.
