Dear Editor,

On Sunday evening, Lexington Avenue Baptist Church hosted the Title Town Celebration sponsored by the local chapter of Fellowship of Christian Athletics. It was a huge success.

Speakers were Jacob Tamme, ( Boyle County and UK graduate and former NFL player) and Aaron Hogue the Central Kentucky FCA director and character coach for UK football. 

The meal was catered by former DHS coach Vaughn Little who served a delicious meal of BBQ. There were approximately 150 folks in attendance.

Most of all, we want to express our delight in the response of the teammates. For many years my husband and I have been involved with football teams, but we truly praise the behavior and attentiveness of both the Danville Admirals and Boyle County Rebels. This kind of expression makes one proud to be a citizen of Danville and Boyle County.  

Often we only hear the negative of young folks, but we are proud to have witnessed this event.
