Jordan Sherrow named to Campbellsville University’s president list 

Jordan Sherrow, a freshman from Harrodsburg was named to the president’s list for the fall 2017 semester from Campbellsville University. The President’s list honors students who achieve a 4.0 grade point average with a course load of at least 12 hours. Jordan attends Campbellsville’s main campus where he is majoring in a political science degree. He is a 2017 graduate from Danville Christian Academy. 

Jordan is the son of Jeff Sherrow and Jennifer Sherrow, the grandson of  Eddie and Alice Sherrow, and the brother of Jamason Sherrow.

Duncan named to Wofford College’s fall 2017 dean’s list

SPARTANBURG, SOUTH CAROLINA — Dr. Michael J. Sosulski, provost of Wofford College, has announced dean’s list students for the Fall 2017 Semester, including:

• Anna Elizabeth Duncan from Danville

To be named to the dean’s list, a student must be enrolled for at least 12 semester hours of graded courses and attain a semester grade point average of 3.6 or higher.

UT Martin names Boyle County student to fall semester chancellor’s honor roll

MARTIN, TENNESSEE — The outstanding academic achievements of undergraduate students at the University of Tennessee at Martin have been honored with publication of the Fall 2017 Chancellor’s Honor Rolls for the College of Agriculture and Applied Sciences, College of Business and Global Affairs, College of Education, Health, and Behavioral Sciences, College of Engineering and Natural Sciences and the College of Humanities and Fine Arts.

Brian P. Baxa, of Danville, was named to the chancellor’s honor roll with high honors. 

To be eligible for Chancellor’s Honor Roll recognition at UT Martin, a student must take at least 12 hours of credit (pass-fail courses are not included) and achieve a 3.2 (B) grade point average based on a 4.0 scale. Students can make the Chancellor’s Honor Roll with honors (3.2 through 3.49), high honors (3.5 through 3.79) or highest honors (3.8 through 4.0).

Olivia Ramsey named to dean’s lst at Miami University

OXFORD, OHIO – Olivia Ramsey was named to the dean’s list at Miami University for the 2017 fall semester.

Ramsey, from Salvisa, is earning a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Biochemistry, Premedical Studies.
