Norma Lynn Hatfield Fansler

1937-2018

Norma Lynn Hatfield Fansler, 80, of Weeki Wachee, Fla., passed away on Friday, January 26, 2018 at her daughter’s home. 

She was born April 13, 1937, in Lancaster, to the late Walker and Mary Mae Poynter. She was the widow to the late Herb Fansler. 

She is survived by one daughter, Connie Trammell (Calvin) of Weeki Wachee, Fla.; one brother, Walter Poynter (Ruby) of Florida; four sisters, Zada Diane Boyd (Kinnaird) of Stanford, KY, Addie Stroxtile (Jim) of Stanford, KY, Ruby Carol Woodall (Gene) of Crab Orchard, KY, Hattie Zaba Grant (David) of Lancaster, KY; two grandchildren, Shawna Meadors and Ronnie Renner; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. 

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by one daughter, Charlette Hatfield; Norma was also preceded in death by two brothers, Walker Poynter Jr. “Boots” and Willie Dee Poynter. 

Visitation will be Wednesday, January 31, 2018 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Funeral will be Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at 1 p.m. at Spurlin Funeral Home with Bro. Mike Sullivan officiating. Burial will follow at Goshen Cemetery. Family members will serve as pallbearers.
