Rotary delivers dictionaries

Third-graders at Junction City Elementary open a box of dictionary’s that the Rotary delivered to them on Friday, Jan. 19. Each year, Danville Rotary Club purchases dictionaries for all third-grade students in the county. Centre College students place labels in them with the Rotary’s “Four-Way Test” printed on them, which asks “Of the things we think, say or do, is it the truth? It it fair? Will it build goodwill/better friendships? Will be be beneficial to all concerned?” Rotary members then delivered the dictionaries to the schools, which included Woodlawn, Perryville, Junction City, Toliver, Hogsett, Jenny Rogers, Montessori and Danville Christian Academy. Logan Germann coordinated the effort by members.
