Garden Club of Danville — 1 p.m. Feb. 7 at the Boyle County Extension Service office, 99 Corporate Drive. The public is invited to hear speaker Alicia Bosela of Ironweed Native Plant Nursery in Columbia. Learn how to shrink your lawn and go native, with plants that save water, add sustainability, attract pollinators, and protect the environment.  For members, the Design is a Japanese style arrangement using some live material. Horticulture is a foliage houseplant.
