Heart of Danville wants to hear your love stories

Attention all hopeless romantics. George Sand once said, “There is only one happiness in this life, to love and be loved.”  

In light of that, The Heart of Danville wants to hear your most romantic gesture or story, for our Valentine’s Day “Expression of Love” competition. The most romantic entry will receive two free entrees at Jane Barleycorn’s Market, Bistro & Bar in downtown Danville. Deadline for this contest is Feb. 8.

Heritage Hospice Volunteer Training

Heritage Hospice, Inc. will host a volunteer training session from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, March 10 at the Heritage Hospice Office, 120 Enterprise Drive.

Volunteer opportunities include; clerical work, patient visits, fundraising and special events.  Call Heritage Hospice at (859) 236-2425 and ask for the volunteer department. Deadline to register for this training class is March 5.
