Brass Band Festival announces 2018 performer line-up

The Great American Brass Band Festival has announced its line-up for performers for this year’s event, planned for May 31-June 3.

The 29th annual festival will celebrate “Main Street America” this year with its all-American Main Street Parade and the popular Saturday evening picnic. 

“We’re excited about the quality and diversity of the bands this year. There’s something for everybody and they are all excellent performers,” said Dr. John Stroube, GABBF artistic director. 

The Great American Brass Band Festival is a free community event showcasing brass band music through performance and education. The festival preserves brass band music and explores its cultural influences through a variety of programs and presentations, featuring the best brass musicians in the world.
