Claire McQuerry

1953-2018

Claire McQuerry, 64, of Madison County, passed away Monday, February 5, 2018 at her home. 

She was born on September 22, 1953, in Garrard County, to the late Delmer “Doty” and Ann Engle Gaskin. Claire worked in healthcare. She was a member of Moreland Christian Church.

Surviving is a son, Clinton Matthew McQuerry (Cari) of Berea KY; two daughters, Doty Clifford (Mark) of Paint Lick and Jana Bailey (Steven) of Berea, KY; two brothers, Cary Dean Gaskin (June) of Nancy, KY and Christopher Gaskin (Kim) of Danville, KY; also surviving are 13 grandchildren, Emery Bertram, Madelyn McQuerry, Brayden McQuerry, Sawyer Bailey, Cassidy Bailey, Bryley Bailey, Eli Clifford, Kinsley Bailey, Shelby Clifford, Wyatt Bailey, Henry McQuerry, Emma McQuerry, and Waylon Bailey.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 10, 2018 at Spurlin Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jerry Browning officiating. 

Visitation will be 5:00-8:00 p.m. Friday. Burial will be in Lancaster Cemetery. 

Active pallbearers are Cary Gaskin, Christopher Gaskin, Joey Peyton, David Strong, Mike Manning, and James “Jimbo” Flynn. Honorary pallbearers will be the grandchildren.
