Taylor offering discussion on run for jailer 

Join Dewayne Taylor, candidate for Boyle County jailer, for coffee and donuts on Saturday, Feb. 24 at 9 a.m. at the Junction City Community Center on Main Street in Junction City. Discussion will be on his plans of improving the jail if elected as jailer.

Boyle and Mercer County Joint Jail Committee – 1:30 p.m. today (Friday, Feb. 9) at Mercer County Fiscal Courtroom. Agenda includes: Shepherd’s House IOP update; Brandstetter Carroll update (town hall meting, dates, methods and locations; jailer’s report; jail food service provider.

Danville-Boyle County Board of Adjustments – 10 a.m., Thursday, Feb. 15, City Hall. Agenda includes: approval of minutes; public hearing, Boyle County Industrial Foundation has applied for a variance for building height on a property located on US 127-150 Bypass. Next board meeting is March 15.

Boyle County Democratic Women’s Club –  7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 22 at the Danville Bowlarama, 1050 E. Lexington Ave. Those wanting to eat at the Bowlarama prior to the meeting will need to arrive around 6:15 p.m. Join other Democrats to discuss future elections and meet Boyle County Democratic candidates.
