Ruey Nell Lemon Belcher

1928-2018

Ruey Nell Lemon Belcher, 89, of Junction City, passed away Thursday at her home. 

She was born June 1, 1928, in Monroe County, Kentucky to the late John and Christeen Eldridge Lemon. She was preceded in death by husband, Joseph V. Belcher. Ruey worked for the state for more than 20 years. She worked for Ky State Hospital and was a homemaker for childcare. She was a faithful member of Alum Springs First Church of God. 

Surviving are three daughters, Christeen Bottom (Lynn), Sherry Denson (Gary), and Teresa Buck, all of Junction City; nine grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and five great-great grandchildren. 

Funeral services 1 p.m. Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at Alum Springs Church of God with Bro. Donald Lear officiating. Burial in Danville Memorial Gardens. 

Visitation 5-9 p.m. Monday, February 12, 2018 at Preston Pruitt Spurlin Funeral Home. 

Pallbearers are Joey Wilson, Brandon Bottom, Daniel Adams, Austin Bodner, Ethan White, Micah Pass, and Joseph Wilson. Honorary pallbearers are Sammy Belcher, James and Joe Lemon, Howard Jackson, Larry Belcher, Jim Belcher, and Mike Belcher. www.prestonpruitt.com
